Need someone to pray for?

Q knows Jennie from University of Redlands.
They spent a semester abroad in Salzburg Austria and became fast friends.

At 30, she's a breast cancer survivor and now currently fighting a new kind of cancer with a new kind of drug. Last summer it returned as Stage IV breast cancer- metastasis to her bones.

She wears rhinestone cancer-kicken' cowboy boots and is hysterically funny and unbelievably honest and optimistic.

Jennie is blogging about her current journey and her battle, you can read it here: http://jenniegrimes.wordpress.com/

Things About B

Meet Brynn.
She's 3, the second born, and is fabulously wonderful...here are a few of the reasons why:

* She's witty, funny and smart

* She calls her freckles her buttons

* She loves to accessorize her outfits with jewelery - even her jammies

* PinkandPurple (it's all one color) is her favorite color

* Strawberries are her favorite food

* She loves her big sister and thinks it's awesome to get Elsie's hand-me-down clothes, especially the dresses

* She loves to have her back rubbed, and then her 'stinky pits' - yep, she lifts her arm high into the air so you can reach her stinky pits as part of the back rub...and she doesn't even giggle

* She loves to have her fingers and toes painted

* She says "fahnk you verhy much"

* Belle is her favorite princess

* She makes sure to hug me and tell me to "have a good day mama" every day when I drop her off at school

* She sings in the car - Johnny Cash is her favorite right now; "turn on the cowboy song mama"

* Some nights she gets lost in her bed, deep down in her covers while she's sound asleep

* She pretends she's a mermaid in the bathtub

* She loves to dance

* Snugly blankie is her most valuable possession

* Her hair is kind of curly, kind of straight and totally challenging to try and control

* She loves to snuggle and have books read to her

* She loves flowers

She's our "nugget" our "peanut" our "Binners" and I can't imagine our family without her.

I Love You Binny Boo!

Happy Mudders Day

Mother's Day came and went without much fuss.

Literally.

I would be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy the banana pancakes that were made for me.

Those banana pancakes, at 8:00 am, were the best part of my day.

I have encouraged the "team captain" to try a bit harder next year. Not too hard...let's just say a card would be a great place to start.

Please don't get me wrong and chalk me up as one ungrateful 'mutha' - because I do love my girls more than life itself and without the two of them, I would not have the special honor and privilege of being a mommy.

Here's to Mother's Day 2012!

Happy Easter!

Better late than never right?

We had a super nice Easter!!

Here's our little photo recap...in no particular order.
(the new up loader is giving me headaches)

Family shot!
Q's mom made the girls matching jumpers - pretty cute - too bad it was starting to snow outside.

The bunnies at Nolan & Beth's for an Easter Brunch after church.

Yeah, Beth hosted a brunch being less than a week out from her due date.
She's amazing!

The bunnies getting ready to dye their eggs.

Hello Kitty Bunny - Easter basket snugly for this year.

Egg dunkers for eye glasses - sure, why not?

Little Bunny is busted with chocolate in hand on Easter morning.
(she didn't get in that much trouble - I can only blame myself for tempting her!)

Easter basket flip flops - a Wilson tradition going strong!

Another shot of the dippers and dyers - too bad such a fun project goes by so quickly!

And there you have it.

We had baskets, multiple egg hunts, went to church, brunch and all took great naps.

Just what Easter should be like.

Reunited!

It had been 3.5 years since we were all together.
It had been 10+ years since we were all together...ALONE.

My oh My how much do I love these girls?
Aaaa LOT!!
It's hard to describe what a true friend is. Sure, there's faithful, loyal, honest, caring, funny, etc.
All of these apply, but they only scratch the surface of how I would describe these two.

Plain and simple...I love them both with all of my heart because they are fabulous and on our little get away, they made my heart overfloweth...again and again and again.

Our trip was beyond wonderful.
It was just the right amount of time to relax, reconnect, receive the therapy I so needed and to realize how much I love, miss and appreciate my family.

I came home feeling refreshed with a renewed sense of spirit.
Not something that just any old acquaintance could help me feel.

I think this picture best summarizes our time together.

Let's plan on it again...and make it an annual event!!

Annie...you're now the designated 'jumper' - saaweet!
